Install Rust and Cargo with rustup, then install Midway:
Cargo builds Midway for your current machine. Use this method for ARM64 Windows, ARM64 Linux, or Intel macOS (x86_64), which do not have prebuilt release archives. Install your platform’s native build tools before compiling:
  • Linux: a C compiler, pkg-config, and OpenSSL development headers. On Debian or Ubuntu, install build-essential pkg-config libssl-dev.
  • Windows: Visual Studio Build Tools with the C++ build tools workload.
  • macOS: Xcode Command Line Tools (xcode-select --install).
